PocketSensei® Announces Nexus English Super•Dictionary™ Version 1.7

The largest handheld dictionary ever for Palm OS®

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. Feb. 8, 2006 – PocketSensei announced today the release of version 1.7 of the Nexus English Super•Dictionary for Palm Powered handhelds and smartphones. Nexus represents the most in-depth and full-featured dictionary ever developed for the Palm OS® platform.

Nexus comes standard with integrated thesaurus, rhyming dictionary, crossword search and custom study lists. Nexus also supports the ability to attach JPEG illustrations to word definitions.

With a patented compression and search engine, Nexus achieves unprecedented memory efficiency and retrieval speeds. The basic dictionary sports over 160,000 entries and with DEX (Dictionary Expansion Library) the number of words exceeds one half million–the most of any handheld dictionary. PocketSensei has taken the entire contents of Princeton's WordNet dictionary and added thousands of contemporary word definitions compiled by a team of Stanford and Northwestern linguists.

With regular updates, Nexus will be the only dictionary to add words almost as soon as they enter the popular lexicon. PocketSensei® Announces SilverScreen™ Version 3.4

New version offers Dynamicons™ and all-new Ticker Tapes™

Mountain View, Calif., Dec. 1, 2005—PocketSensei® announced the immediate availability of SilverScreen™ 3.4, an upgrade to the best-selling application launcher for Palm OS® devices. The software retains the renowned simplicity and familiar layout of Palm’s application launcher while seamlessly incorporating new functionality and a stylish appearance. SilverScreen facilitates application management by employing intuitive drag-and-drop access to commonly-used functions that reside on a "pop-up" tools sheet. A highly-refined interface exploits the graphic capabilities of both color and grayscale Palm devices.

SilverScreen 3.4 adds the ability to display animated icons or Dynamicons™ within the launcher environment. Initial offerings include smoothly animated flags with many new sets planned for release in the coming months.

New date-driven Ticker Tapes™ have also been released for April including major league baseball games, an inspirational quote-a-day and world holidays calendar.
